2/7/11, Typhoon Lagoon & Barbecue

Had a fabulous day in Typhoon Lagoon water park. Took David to the Kiddie part of the park but he complained that it lacked real thrills and adventure. OK then Wee Man...off to the Lagoon and I'll show you thrills. We entered the large lagoon, waited for the bang and then the massive tidal wave. "Dad, this is fun".

 

The temp was very hot today. 96 degrees on our return to the car. Couldn't even hold the metal part of the seat buckle. Air Con on and headed for Wallmart on H27. You could fit 10 or our local Tesco stores into this place. Home for Barbecue.

The MacMillan family from our church back home in Falkirk joined us for the barbecue. We had a great night. Steak, Ribs, Burgers and some Key Lime Pie. The kids splashed in the pool, played soccer and pool and Sol helped cook on the barbecue.  Thanks to Sam and Eilidh, David's swimming is coming on a treat

Loads of holiday tales to share.  Laughs and excitement all round.  A late night for wee Dave...looks like a long lie in the morning!
